Amazon Black Friday Deals 2010 Coming on November 22
It was announced last week that Black Friday deals were being released early, and that applies to Amazon now. Amazon, in hopes of capitalizing on early holiday shoppers has launched its Countdown to Black Friday event, which utilizes the Amazon Gold Box section of their site to showcase daily deals, lightening deals, and huge savings every Friday.
On October 29th, the first set of Black Friday deals were released on Amazon in an electronics blowout. The first deal was on the 55-inch Toshiba LED HDTV and the second deal was on a Roko HD-XR player that sold out fast. At 9am PDT Amazon offered up an Archos 5 Android Tablet for a never-before-seen price, and hour after hour the deals just kept coming.
Consumers are avidly checking the Gold Box section on Amazon for daily deals, including some of today’s great deals like a Plantronics Voyager Pro Bluetooth Headset for only $45, a Humbucker Electric Guitar for $139, and upcoming deals every 2 hours.
It is likely that this month-long focus on Black Friday 2010 will help a lot of consumers and merchants alike this holiday shopping season. The big question to ask yourself is simple: if Black Friday no longer exists as one day, which day will provide the best possible deals?
