Apple Improves Macbook Pro In Latest Release

Apple, fresh from its iPad release last week, has now launched a new set of upgraded and improved Macbook Pros which is said to have 10 hours single charge capacities.

According to Apple’s battery tests, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro computers released Tuesday will last 10 hours per charge. The 15- and 17-inch models will go for 8 to 9 hours, Apple said.

Also, the new MacBook Pros features faster processors and graphics chips than their predecessors. The processor is supplied by Intel and the graphics by Nvidia.

Though Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 chips are designed to be energy efficient, squeezing 8 to 10 hours out of them is no small feat.

Apple designed its own processor called the A4 for the iPad. But the A4 runs at 1 gigahertz while the new Intel chips are more than twice that speed.
