Facebook Question and Answers Rolls Out

Facebook is rolling out a new service today to about 5 million users. It’s a service where users can ask questions and search for answers within the social networking site.

With the popularity of “asking questions” in search engines such as Google and other services such as Yahoo! Answers, this could be another big move forward for the company to get more engagement from users.

One thing to remember though… the questions and answers will be available to the public. This means anything you ask or answer can and will be traced back to you.

The project is being led by Facebook director, Blake Ross and hopes that this crowdsourcing service will give the users of the social network an easy and convenient way to access relevant information.
