Jodie Foster Says Battery Allegations Not True
A 17-year-old and his father are accusing Jodie Foster of battery. First reported in Radar Online, it is said that a police report has been filed by the boy’s father which states that “Foster attacked my son at he parking lot at The Grove. She pushed and shoved him, leaving scratches and bruises on his arm.”
The alleged incident occurred on May 29 between 1:50 and 2pm, when the boy, a fan of Foster, saw her and began taking pictures of her. She then followed him, poked him on the chest and grabbed his left arm, leaving a visible injury.
However, according to Fosters’ rep, the guy followed the actress for a while and then “crowded her and her two young children,” and kept clicking their pictures. She did hold the boy by his arm, but only to take him aside and ask him not to take pictures of her, she said.
The 47-year-old actress says that the teen is exaggerating the whole story, and that his actions were not justified. “This guy’s behavior was completely inappropriate,” said the rep, adding that the police report is merely “a fabrication of the incident.”
