Manila Feels Earthquake

The Philippines has just experienced a 6.1 magnitude earthquake around 1:29:31 PM. It was most felt at the western part of Manila.

Buildings in Manila shook for about 30 seconds early Thursday afternoon. Many workers ran out of their offices. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. No tsunami warnings have been issued.

The exact location / epicenter of the earthquake is 13.744°N, 120.069°E in the Mindoro Region. The epicenter is 105 km W of Batangas, 125 km WNW of Calapan and 135 km SW of Manila.

A few days before, a magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck the northern Philippines, Laoag on Tuesday. No injuries have been reported.
