Motorola Ready To Compete With iPhone 4
After the recent release of iPhone 4 by Apple, Motorola is ready to launch their next Android smartphone that will be faster and better than the previous Nexus One, HTC Droid Incredible and HTC Evo 4G.
Motorola’s co-CEO Sanjay Jha said the phone maker is building a new Android phone with a 2GHz processor which they can hopefully launch by the end of the year.
Jha has confirmed the device will, like the iPhone 4, have a gyroscope. It will furthermore have an Nvidia Tegra-based graphics processor with full Flash 10.1 hardware acceleration.
The smartphone will support 720p output and “HD screen resolution” and integrate a camera with “more than 5-megapixel” resolution. The handheld will retain the familiar keyboard-plus-touch-screen form factor of the original Droid.
