Super Bowl is always a big marketing event and not just a sporting match. That’s why many film producers opt to give their movie trailers a debut during the game. So what can you expect this year? A few days ago, The Hollywood Reporter has announced that there are five movies who will make a presence during the NFL night. They are J.J. Abrams’ alien-invasion film Super 8, the new Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Gore Verbinski’s CGI film Rango and Marvel’s superhero film Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger.

Moreover, Disney is planning to give fans some footage of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, while Universal and DreamWorks will feature the Daniel Craig-Harrison Ford sci-fi western Cowboys & Aliens. On the other hand, Relativity Media will also be there with the Bradley Cooper-Robert De Niro starrer Limitless and a promo for Take Me Home Tonight will air during Glee, the show right after Super Bowl 2011. Pre-game, movie spots will go to Just Go With It, Battle: Los Angeles, Priest, The Eagle and Kung Fu Panda 2.
