The Last Airbender Will Be Available in 3D

Paramount has just announced that the upcoming movie “The Last Airbender” from director M. Night Shyamalan will be available in 3D upon its release in July 2010.

News sources say that Shyamalan is excited with converting the said film to 3D. This will be his first film to be released in the visual technology.

The Last Airbender is a live action adaptation of the popular animated series Avatar. Due to the popularity of the James Cameron sci-fi movie, the film producers decided to release it officially under the supposed subtitle and use The Last Airbender as the marquee.

This movie will feature Noah Ringer as Aang, the young boy who must learn the art of “bending” the elements in order to confront the war-like Fire Nation. Dev Patel also stars as Prince Zuko, with Nicola Peltz as Katara and Jackson Rathbone as Sokka.
