Twitter Ads Pushing To Users Soon
Twitter has recently introduced a new service called Promoted Tweets, which will let companies send ads in the form of ordinary messages.
The decision is aimed to make the microblogging service more sustainable through a more stable income generating service.
Soon, users will start seeing paid messages, which will be labeled “promoted,” at the top of some Twitter search results pages.
Future changes to the ad service could also include showing the messages in users’ message timelines.
Users seem to be fine with the new service and no negative reaction have been significantly received.
However, the big question now is how effective will these ads be with respect to the marketing campaigns of the companies. Twitter and analysts are hopeful this will succeed.
